Learn Oral Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) from 2 of Australia’s most experienced myofunctional dentists.
Dr Dan and Dr Donny have a combined experience of using Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) of over 20 years and both have learned from the best in the business.
What they bring to the world of OMT education is direct experience of introducing successful OMT programs to no less than 7 practices between them. They know what works and what does not work. With their “Take Off’ program they have created a method which is easy to follow and highly effective.
You will learn over 50 different exercises and more importantly you will be coached on when to use each exercise while still keeping every OMT treatment plan bespoke for each patient. No patient is the same, and no ideal OMT plan is the same either. Therefore, you will learn how to tailor the plan according to clinical need.
Educational tools will include live demonstrations, videography and their unique ‘Take Off’ algorithms which tell the user which exercises to use according to the specific overall muscular dysfunction of the patient at that moment in time. We are taking OMT education to new heights!
“My team and I are most impressed by the systematic approach to myofunctional therapy developed by Donny and Dan, and their generosity in sharing it.
We have done many courses on myofunctional therapy and implementing myofunctional orthodontics over the years. I believe the Take Off course has offered the most logical framework for delivering personalised myofunctional therapy so far.
The extensive catalogue of graded myofunctional exercises specific to the tongue, breathing, lip seal and swallowing, accompanied by explanations and rationale for each has proven to be invaluable to us. My practice manager calls the course book her bible.
It has helped us fine tune our therapy to more precisely target problem areas and introduce greater variety to keep things stimulating. This helps patients and parents experience quicker successes, increased motivation to meet new levels of challenge and greater compliance.
This is the one course that I would send any team member new to the field in future – to equip and support them with practical implementation of personalised therapy.”
